Tom Hanna was appointed assistant director of the Kentucky Agricultural Experiment Station (KAES) and Research Office in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment in May, 2017.  Tom has worked in various management and administrative positions in his 34 years at UK.  In addition to several years in Central Administration and Hospital Administration, his UK career includes twelve years in the Graduate School as director of graduate student funding, information technology, and data management.  A native of Lexington, he holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the UK Martin School, after completing his undergraduate degree at UK.
